  About ASLAACT
ASLA (ACT) is the professional association for all those interested in, or engaged in, aspects of education in school libraries in the ACT. It aims to promote the interests of Teacher Librarians, by providing a forum for professional discussion and growth.

Membership of ASLA (ACT) provides opportunities to participate in regular professional development activities and keep up to date with developments, both local and national, through our regular publications.

School libraries provide the key to creating life-long learners. With rapid change in society, students with well developed information skills will have the tools they need to survive in the information age.

  • Promote teachers and teacher librarians as equal partners in the design and implementation of curriculum.
